THE TICK is Back through Amazon Studios…..SPOON!!!!!!!!!

If you grew up in the 90’s you probably have a very fond place in your heart for ‘The Tick‘. If that is the case, you are going to be ecstatic to find out that the show is returning through Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures. Although Patrick Warburton, who headlined the nine-episode live-action The Tick, won’t be reprising the title role, he is attached as an executive producer. Both Ben Edlund and Barry Josephson are also returning to executive produce with Edlund also writing. What’s more, the new The Tick has already cast its Arthur. Vinyl star Griffin Newman will play accountant-turned-moth-themed-superhero Arthur Everest, while House of Lies‘ Valorie Curry will play his sister, Dot.

The new The Tick will feature a pilot episode helmed by Transcendence‘s Wally Pfister.
